In recent years, our understanding of time trial tyre performance has evolved, recognising that in almost all racing conditions, wider tyres will deliver superior performance. The Asymmax is designed specifically with this in mind, supporting tyre widths from 25mm to 32mm, but performing best with 28mm to 30mm options.
An extra-wide 23mm internal rim width between hooks allows for both clincher and tubeless setups and creates a more efficient tyre-rim profile that reduces system drag while also offering all the benefits of wider tyres at lower pressures:
