The TroikaMAX+ is the deepest wheel from our Trispoke Mini Disc project. Instantly recognisable, our unique design features a large central lens with shorter slender aerofoil spokes with a deeper 80mm balanced outer rim reducing rotational drag and delivering an unparalleled overall level of aerodynamic performance over a wide range of yaw angles and wind speeds while maintaining excellent handling characteristics.
As a front wheel option the TroikaMAX+ typically delivers gains of around 2-3% once yaw increases beyond 12° but it’s as a rear wheel that it’s most suited and therefore recommended as an alternative to a solid Disc wheel particularly when wheel restrictions are in place. Ceramicspeed bearings as standard deliver the ultimate in rolling efficiency.
Tyre choice is made easier by a tolerant design 31mm outer rim profile and a 20mm internal rim width aerodynamically supporting clincher / tubeless and tubular tyres ranging from 23mm to 32mm.
