The 40mm rim depth and 25mm internal width deliver a tangible aerodynamic advantage when speeds rise, particularly with tyres at the narrower end of the range, while maintaining excellent crosswind stability. At the same time, the impressively low weight ensures rapid acceleration and responsive climbing performance, making the GX40 equally at home on steep ascents and punchy terrain.
Compatible with tyre widths from 35mm to 60mm, it offers true versatility for modern gravel riding.
At the centre is the durable Evolve 200 hard-anodised hubset, featuring a 36-tooth Ratchet freehub system for fast, reliable engagement. The wheels are laced with Pillar aero spokes in a 2-cross configuration, using external nipples for straightforward servicing. High-quality TPI sealed bearings ensure smooth, efficient rolling across all surfaces.
