Disc Brake Rotor Locking Shield.

The Aeroto is an aerodynamic component which has been designed to help improve airflow around disc brake rotors and replaces your existing lock ring on 140mm and 160mm size centre lock rotors.

This one piece stealthy Carbon fibre lens has a bonded durable alloy central fitting and can be easily switched between different rotors (rotor not supplied). Compatible with Shimano, Sram, TRP, A2Z rotors etc and fitted using a regular internal rotor/cassette lock ring tool. Oversized axles which require an external outer locking tool are not compatible.

Description

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

The Aeroto has undergone 12 months of real world field testing at the highest level of professional Triathlon racing and used during Ironman records and wins along the way. Intended mainly for front wheel use but can also be fitted to the rear on TT/Tri bikes on race day wheels only and not to be used on road bikes or for general training. Design features are in place to reduce risk of unwanted overheating but we do not recommend it for races where prolonged heavy braking is required. Aerodynamic benefits are less likely to be seen if mounted to the rear rotor.

Upon fitting ensure that the calliper braking pads only contact the outer metal brake surface of the rotor and do not come into contact with the Aeroto carbon shield when brakes are engaged as this is likely to result in immediate failure of the shield. Typically the Aeroto will sit with enough clear space without any adjustment to your hydraulic callipers. Please check this carefully before use. Potential savings of 0.5 – 2 watts are indicated in testing when fitted to the front wheel but may differ between wheel types, rotor type and size, fork blade profiling.

There is a 1 to 6 weeks lead time for all Evolve Aero Wheels. There is a 1 to 10 days lead time on all accessories.

Returns

We are happy to offer an exchange or refund. Perhaps the item is not what you want, it doesn’t fit, or maybe you’ve just changed your mind. As long as your items are unused, in their original packaging and returned within 28 days of receipt, just send it back.

Please note, unwanted items are returned at the buyers expense.

If you return an item because it is not as described or it’s damaged, we will replace the item or issue a full refund by the payment method that was received.
