Description
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Our Aeroto components have been in use at the very highest level of professional Triathlon racing since 2020. Selected equipment for the exceptional bike performances in the Sub7 Tri Challenge, many Mid/Long distance Pro Tri victories and most recently the astonishing 3h:57m Kona record split. Intended mainly for front wheel use where the biggest advantage will be made but can also be fitted to the rear without issue on TT/Tri bikes.
Upon fitting ensure that the caliper braking pads only contact the outer metal brake surface of the rotor and do not come into contact with the carbon when brakes are engaged as this is likely to result in failure. Typically the Aeroto will sit with enough clear space without any adjustment to your hydraulic calipers. Please check this carefully before use, onus is on the customer or mechanic installing this component.
Potential savings of 2 to 4 watts are indicated in testing when fitted to the front wheel but may differ between wheel types, rotor type and size, fork blade profiling.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
- Simply locate the Aeroto onto the hub and use the lockring provided (external tool type only).
- Using any alternative lockring may result in unwanted distortion of the carbon perimeter. To avoid scratching the carbon rotor face while tightening you must use the protective disc provided between the wrench and carbon face. Alternatively protection can be applied in the form of duck tape or similar. Can be tightened to a maximum of 40Nm.
