Revolver Aysmm Turbulate – Disc Brake
The Asymm disc wheel. A breakthrough in aerodynamic design when first launched in 2015 using our concept of asymmetry. Ongoing R&D including many hours spent in the Wind Tunnel have led to several design updates since and now our most radical aerodynamic innovation is rolled out…..Turbulate! In essence this is our flagship Asymm XWide model with the introduction of our serrated ‘Turbulate’ perimeter detail which has been shown to reduce drag across a wide range of yaw but particularly at higher angles. The gains while marginal are there for all to take advantage of but this invitation is most effective at speeds around 40kph, a good average speed for the serious Triathlete. The gains are still experienced at 50kph+ but yaw angles are inevitably lower at higher speeds so the biggest advantages would be harder to realise for those averaging very high speeds.
Available currently for Disc brake only the Asymm Turbulate uses our 28mm XWide rim which is aerodynamically efficient with 23mm to 28mm Tubeless or Clincher tyres. Rolling on the latest DT Swiss 240 exp hub you can be confident of superb quality and durability with an added option to upgrade to Ceramicspeed coated bearings for the absolute ultimate in rolling efficiency.
Revolver AEROTO
The Aeroto is an aerodynamic component which has been designed to help improve airflow around the front wheel disc brake rotor and replaces your existing lock ring on 140mm and 160mm size centre lock rotors. This one piece stealthy Carbon fibre lens has a bonded durable alloy central fitting and can be easily switched between different rotors (rotor not supplied). Compatible with Shimano, Sram, TRP, A2Z etc and fitted using a regular rotor/cassette lock ring tool.
