Carbon Fibre Twin Bottle Mount System

Another World’s first in aerodynamic performance aids. Our innovative concept developed over a 5 month period and several Wind Tunnel refinement sessions allows two aero water bottles to be positioned directly above the forearms bridging the gap between hands and upper arms reducing drag over a wide range of yaw angles and wind speeds while providing extra hydration capacity. Designed to be fitted onto our Blackbird Mono armrest range or could also be used with a compliant central stack bridge.

Intended for use by Professional Triathletes on non technical courses with good clear roads to be able to gain an advantage from use.
This component is intended for Middle / Long distance Triathlon racing only.
We do not recommend using for mass participation Age Group events or on technical courses where this could affect handling reaction in an emergency.
We do not recommend using higher sided armrests as this may cause operational difficulties.
It is the responsibility of the rider to determine how safely they can use this component as an addition to their own cockpit componentry.

Description

Savings of up to an incredible 23 watts can be achieved at higher interaction speeds with a compatible mantis type TT position when key positioning factors are followed. Because of the importance of this we will only supply this performance aid after an email consultation to determine correct width etc. Incorrect positioning can result in an increase in aerodynamic drag.

The BLACKBIRD OVERARM system comprises a main carbon fibre mounting plate which has design features allowing easy entry and exit from a race position while the bottles sit in their optimal aerodynamic position when using the tribars. This main plate is mounted at a pre-set angle onto a height adjustable central carbon stack to fine tune clearance. The inline and lean angle positioning of the bottles is also pre-set with a slight allowance for further fine adjustment.

This product is intended purely as a race day Aerodynamic-Hydration performance aid so is easily fitted or removed in seconds via two bolts.

Armrest width should be measured from outside right to outside left across the centre of the
armrests then check the guide to determine the most appropriate width from Small / Medium / Large.

Delivery and Returns

Lead Time

There is a 1 to 3 weeks lead time for all Revolver Wheels. There is a 1 to 10 days lead time on all accessories.

Returns

We are happy to offer an exchange or refund. Perhaps the item is not what you want, it doesn’t fit, or maybe you’ve just changed your mind. As long as your items are unused, in their original packaging and returned within 28 days of receipt, just send it back.

Please note, unwanted items are returned at the buyers expense.

If you return an item because it is not as described or it’s damaged, we will replace the item or issue a full refund by the payment method that was received.

Warranty

Extent of Limited Warranty warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two years after original purchase. This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through the retailer where the wheel was purchased or direct to the Wave Lenticular Ltd via e-mail. Original proof of purchase is required.

Limitations of Liability

To the extent allowed by local law, except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, in no event shall Wave Lenticular Ltd. or its third party supplies be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

Limitations of Warranty

This warranty does not apply to products that have been incorrectly installed and/or adjusted.
This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact damage, abuse of the product, non-compliance with manufacturers specifications of usage or any other circumstances in which the product has been subjected to forces or loads beyond its design.
This warranty does not apply when the product has been modified.
This warranty does not apply when the serial number or production code has been deliberately altered, defaced or removed.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear. Wear and tear parts are subject to damage as a result of normal use.
This warranty shall not cover damages caused by the use of parts of different manufacturers. This warranty shall not cover damages caused by the use of parts that are not compatible, suitable and/ or authorized by Wave Lenticular Ltd.
